Forest Bridge, No. 3

Did the original drawing of this, I think from life, of a bridge over a creek in the valley at the foot of the Shawangunk Ridge near the Catskills in New York about ten years ago (forget if it was east or west of the Ridge).  Drawing was evocative but very faint, too faint to get a good transfer on which to base an ink version.  So I just inked the original.  One of my better attempts at drawing water in motion.  I remember wishing I could get even further downstream from the bridge, since the stream ran through a crack in a seven foot high bolder just a little bit further dowstream from where this drawing stops.

5 1/2 x 8 inches, pen and ink on paper, from 2018.  $95 per matted, mounted, signed 600 dpi print on white acid-free cardstock with quarter-inch borders, in a limited edition run of 50.  I only use permanent, pigment-based HP inks which meet the ISO 11798 fade-resistance standard.  Matting will be a two inch border in a neutral color, but I will consider reasonable requests for variation.
