One of my laundromat sketches from Springfield, Illinois, done around 2003 with a ballpoint pen. Tried to make sloppiness a virtue here, with more attention given to balancing out shapes than to two point perspective or razor-straight lines. Added the color in 2019 to accent rather than take over the composition.
10 x 6 1/4 inches, watercolor pencil and inkwash over printed copy of ballpoint pen original. Print is a matted. mounted, signed 600 dpi color print on white acid-free cardstock with half-inch borders, in a limited run of fifty. I only use permanent, pigment-based HP inks which meet the ISO 11798 fade-resistance standard.
