Based on a picture taken on the way from Durham, North Carolina to the Outer Banks in 1993. Ballpoint pen is great for subtle grays, though not as good as pen and ink for sharp darks; a good choice to show the blur of speed on a cloudy day.
9 x 11 1/4 inches, ballpoint pen on paper, from 2002. Print is a matted, signed 600 dpi print on white acid-free cardstock with half-inch borders, in a limited run of fifty. I only use permanent, pigment-based HP inks which meet the ISO 11798 fade-resistance standard.
